This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia; picture taken at night before sunrise; effects and oil painting styles; available in traditional fine art photography, original art print, and effects versions available; this is the effects version; 7201-3-4
This picture was taken on an icy winter morning before sunrise and before the first light appeared on the horizon. I created versions with special effects and digitally painted it to create a painting style because it worked so well with the textures and colors of the wood of the mill and the bare, winter "stick trees".

This is beautiful and mysterious, Dan. There's a sort of night magic about it; the vertical format makes the scene even more special.
Dan Carmichael replied:
Thank you, Wendy. I truly appreciate your comment. - Dan
